Bernd Buschhausen

Bernd Buschhausen is a member of the management team at H/Advisors Deekeling Arndt and serves as Managing Director. He advises companies, associations, and institutions on public affairs, government relations, and stakeholder engagement. His sector expertise includes environmental and energy policy, healthcare and nutrition, technology, and security policy.

Bernd has more than 25 years of experience in political communications and public affairs at both the national and European levels. He supports organizations ranging from start-ups to DAX-listed corporations in navigating political and regulatory environments and strengthening their positioning among key stakeholders. His campaigns have received multiple industry awards, most recently the Digital Marketing Award 2022 for a project with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Bernd is a board member of Netzwerk Public Affairs, the German Association of public affairs professionals and leaders.
